TechEd Amsterdam
TechEd Europe has been going very well this week. Very busy, lots of people asking questions about VSTO for Word, Excel, Infopath and Outlook. Lots of interest in our new support for managed add-ins.
My session on VSTO Outlook Add-ins is on Thursday at 1200. Meanwhile, I've been working on the Instructor-led labs for VSTO-Outlook with BJ Holtgrewe, our Senior Product Manager. Also helping out in the Ask-The-Experts lounge with Mike Hernandez, our Community Program Manager.
Plus, chatting with customers, partners and other MS nerds. My pals Mark Bower, Jessica Gruber and Ned Friend had sessions yesterday - all of which I missed. Darn! Its been just soooo busy. Also bumped into Ben Mitchell, John Craddock and Kevin Sangwell. John has sessions on Thursday and Friday if you missed them earlier in the week. Ben has a session on Friday. Met Aaron Coday of Intel who has been talking about OpenMP - another session on Friday. Don't forget Mike Hernandez's chalk/talk on Friday at 1445.
Bumped into Mads Nissen of ObjectWare in Norway, who's been building a solution for his customer, using VSTO support for managed Outlook add-ins. I'm roping him in to demo his solution at the end of my session on Thursday.
