Here's your chance to feed in your comments on current plans for extending Outlook - and pass on your suggestions for new features. Goto Randy Byrne's "Geek Eye for the Outlook Guy (or Gal)_. The purpose of the session is to obtain feedback from Tech Ed attendees about extensibility plans for Outlook 12. Meeting Room 18, from 8pm to 10pm on Tuesday May 25, 2004.
Oh, and if you're wondering why my posts are coming up with tomorrow's date, its because I've discovered the secret of time travel, and not because my notebook is still on London time.
Oh #2, and if you're wondering what I'm doing at Tech-Ed (apart from having a lot of fun), I'll be manning the Business Productivity Cabana (2+3) a lot this week, specifically the Office Developer Technologies + Tools table. Then, I have a breakout session:
BPR410 Office Developer: Architecting Solutions with Office and Managed Service Layers Friday 1300-1415, Room 9
Plus, I have 2 Cabana sessions scheduled:
BPRC33 - Lifetime Management for Office Development with Visual Studio .NET
Wednesday 1400-1515, Cabana 3.
BPRC22 VB.NET vs. C# for Office Development with Visual Studio .NET
Friday 1445-1600, Cabana 2
Ben Mitchell has just pitched up to say hello. Ben is a Regional Director, focused on WSE. I used to work with Ben in London, where he was implementing some bleeding edge WSE stuff for a very large enterprise. Be sure to catch his session on Wednesday, May 26 2:00 PM- 3:15 PM, Room 10: Connected Systems: Using Web Services Enhancements v2.0 (WSE) to Secure Web Services.
