It's there! Today Visual Studio 2008 is released and arrived at the MSDN download sites for MSDN Subscriptions.
It was announced only two weeks ago that Visual Studio 2008 would be released to MSDN before the end of November. And guess what? It is an early release as it is ready for download today November 19.

I had to do some development to move an old addin over from Office 2003 to Office 2007 and that is why I needed to edit the Ribbon XML in VSTO 2005 SE (don't forget to update).
