30th Anniversary of A "Great Movie"

I was in Seattle this week at a used CD/DVD store and picked up a classic Roger Corman flick: “Death Race 2000“.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0072856/

Well I was looking at the cover to this movie and lo and behold it was made in 1975 making this year  the 30th anniversary of this fine art house movie.

I think sometime later this year I will host a screening of this fine flick at my place.

I'll keep ya posted.

That movie is awesome Rod. I saw it for the first time when I was about 14. Best line: "Nobody scores my navigator and gets away with it!"

By the same Director as Eating Raoul - strangely, one of my favorite off beat flicks.

Someone on Amazon described this as "think if the Hanson Brothers from SLAP SHOT got into race cars".

Works for me! I'm gonna order it. Thanks
