Stupid Smoker Jerks
First I am gonna start off with a disclaimer. I have nothing against smokers. My fiance is a smoker and every now and again I like a nice drag on a Marlboro.
Here's what pisses me off. I fly a lot. I am at 50,000 miles for this year already. One of the things I have is a Platinum Amex card. A perk of this card is that it gets me into the lounges of Northwest, Continental and Delta whenever I fly those airlines. These lounges are great. The are little cocoons that you can use to work, have a soda, sometimes watch TV and in general be out of the airport traffic.
Here's my beef. I usually make a pit-stop (use the boys room) when I am in the club. 100% of the time I am at the club in Minneapolis someone is or has just been in there smoking. I hate the smell of stale cigarette smoke.
This is pathetic. Is your life so sad that you can't make it a couple of hours till you light up again ? This is in a place where the people are business travellers who I expect to know better.
