A Personal Invitation to Our SharePoint Event on January 28th

Dear Friend,

Happy New Year!  I am reaching out to you today to tell you about a SharePoint event that my team and I have put together.  Over the past few years, we have been fortunate to have worked with some great customers who have found creative ways to make a measurable business impact with their use of SharePoint.  As we enter into 2009, a year that most certainly will challenge all of us due to the current economic climate, we will need to find ways to “do more with less”.  The danger, of course, is that some will fall victim to the “do nothing” strategy and will ultimately lose in the short and long term.  Where does SharePoint fit into your strategic plans?

On January 28th, we, Vitale Caturano, will be hosting a day long SharePoint event at the Microsoft office in Waltham, MA.  There is no charge and no big sales pitch.  Our goal is simple… share with you some ways we think you can leverage SharePoint, in both new and mature environments, so that you can be enabled to use it as a business tool for recognized operational efficiencies and optimized IT.

I’m taking the lead with the keynote address (a pseudo “state of the SharePoint union” presentation).  Members of my team will present on various topics (from checking the health of your SharePoint environment to using Virtual Earth to show your SharePoint data in a whole new way to an introduction to Silverlight).  I have also asked a couple of my key business partners to address what I feel will be the hottest topics in 2009, Compliance and Search.

Mark your calendar, bring your colleagues, and tell your friends.  We promise to fill the day with thought provoking and impactful ideas.  You’ll learn a lot and you’ll be inspired to take your SharePoint usage to that next level.

To register for this event, go to www.vitale.com/sharepoint.

Thanks,

Mauro
