Please welcome To Done to the GTD Zone
I'm excited to announce that To Done, a GTD-focused blog written by D. Keith Robinson, is the newest addition to The GTD Zone here at OfficeZealot.com. Chris and I have been following Keith's work for some time now and we're delighted that he's agreed to be aggregated into our community.
Keith describes himself as:
...a writer, designer, artist, publisher, etc. I live in Seattle, Washington, and have been a working Web professional for going on 10 years now. During my career I’ve worked with companies like Boeing, Microsoft and Sony. My current interests include online publishing and community, photography, fiction, information architecture, music and design. And of course personal productivity and all things related to working to have a better life.
He explains his introduction to Getting Things Done and the birth of To Done:
To-Done is a site I started almost on a whim. An office mate of mine had recommended I check out Getting Things Done by David Allen. I’d read a few similar books and always found them helpful and interesting, so I picked it up. It’s a great book.
I started thinking about it and realized that I’d always been someone who was into this stuff, and someone who liked sharing my own processes, tips and tricks. After all, what fun is a vacation or party if everyone else has work on the brain! Since I’d been into writing, and I’m always up for a challenge and a way to talk to new people, I figured a Web site on the topic would be great.
Well, less than a day later (thanks to Dreamhost and their amazing services) I’d reserved the domain, set up the site and made my first post. I think that’s a testament to “getting things done” don’tcha think?
In any case, I hope you enjoy To-Done and that you find something of use to you here! Thanks for reading!
Welcome to The GTD Zone Keith.
