GTD Wiki is causing quite a stir
Steve Rubel sent me a note about Nathan Bowers' GTD implementation of TiddlyWiki a couple of days ago and I took a quick look and liked what I saw. Like Merlin, I'm in something of a “No New Tools” phase right now (besides my new Treo 650 which really doesn't count since I've used a Palm for a long time and have been very good about not adding new software to that device - just using what I did on my old Clie UX50). So I haven't done much more than take a look and follow the buzz.
The buzz is building though. There are active discussions taking place on both the Getting Things Done forums and in the 43 Folders Google Group about this new Wiki implementation of David Allen's methods for capturing, processing, organizing and acting on what you need to do. What's unique about the GTDTiddlyWiki (man, that's hard to type, much less say) is that it's completely portable and requires nothing more than a browser.
If you're looking for a lightweight, portable tool to practice your GTD techniques, this may be a great choice.
