Excellent mind mapping overview
Trevor Claiborne has put together a really fine
overview and tutorial about using mind maps as a ubiquitous capture and information management tool. He provides an excellent set of mind maps to support his article which you can download, along with links to the 21-day trial version of MindManager and Mindjet’s free viewer program as well. If your curiosity has been aroused by mentions here and in other blogs about using mind maps to capture information, organize it, and share it, this is a must read.
Be sure to download the maps Trevor provides (they can be viewed with the evaluation version or the free viewer). They really help you grasp how this tool and technique can be used for a wide variety of tasks.
