An American treasure
I grew up listening to Bruce Springsteen. In Wilmington, Delaware, where I spent my “formative” years, Bruce was a well-known rocker long before he hit the national stage with the release of Born to Run. Yesterday, he made an appearance in support of John Kerry. Politics aside (I'm not interested in debating politis with anyone - I just want everyone to cast their ballot), the appearance was a rare thing in this nasty campaign season - an uplifting, almost poetic moment.
