Seize the Work Day update - the new Tablet Input Panel

Michael Linenberger’s Seize the Work Day is my favorite book about gaining maximum productivity with the Tanlet PC. I’ve recommended this book often and have never heard anything but positive feedback about how the book has revealed sound, practical advice for adapting the Tablet PC to a variety of work styles.

Linenberger has just released an update for the book that provides an excellent primer on the new Tablet Input Panel introduced in Tablet PC 2005 Edition. I know more than a few Tablet users have been confused by some of the changes Microsoft introduced into the ink input interface in the new OS. Linenberger’s well-illustrated guide documents just about everything you need to know to get maximmum benefit from the enhanced TIP.

If you haven’t yet read the book, this will serve as an excellent introduction to his easy-to-read narrative style and excellent use of illustration. If you have read the book, this update fulfills a promise too often unkept by authors of technology books - to stay current with the evolving subject matter. Even if you fancy yourself an expert on the Tablet PC, there’s probably a surprise or two in this update. I learned, for example, the secret to resizing the floating TIP to better suit my needs.
