Today I left from home, my wife and two kids waved me goodbye at the Schiphol airport. As I had bought the cheapest tickets available in January and I used Airmiles (from the shopping initiative, not the Frequent Flyer miles) to get an ever bigger discount I wanted to make sure to eat enough before flying out. And what do you know? Miracles happen.

Despite my cheap ticket KLM/NWA decided it was a good thing to upgrade me to World Business Class. That may be because I'm a Elite Plus frequent flyer member and they wanted to make sure that I will be a happy customer in the future too. I guess my flight back will be in coach/economy ... but for now I was a happy guy enjoying all the World Business perks.

After a nine or ten hour flight I landed in Seattle and I stepped into the bus (public transportation) and after 30 minutes arrived at the hotel where I stay for the next week.

Registration for the MVP Summit was handled quickly so the rest of the day was time to party.... 2 parties that is, VBCity party and Party With Palermo. Both fun and meeting lots of old and new contacts!

Dayclosing ... time to go to sleep. Tomorrow will be a busy day!
