Soma Somasegar, Vice President of Microsofts Developer Devision just announced at the Europe TechEd, Barcelona, that Visual Studio 2008 is planned to be released in November from this year!

Previously I announced that the launch date for Visual Studio 2008 is in november together with SQL Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 so that is a lot earlier than expected.

So be prepared for the next version of Visual Studio real soon
