FoxPro ... The End
Today I found out that the Visual FoxPro team announced that there will be no VFP 10. VFP 9 will be the last version. I must be getting old to survive this application. FoxPro was one of the applications I worked with when I started programming. You could build client friendly applications using a database in no time.
In fact, I started my professional work with dBase III from Ashton Tate later bought by Borland. FoxPro however appeared to be much faster in processing the runtime code leaving dBase in the background.
I can hardly imagine that this tool is now going to end. I stopped using the product a looooooooooooong time ago but always had an eye on developments for FoxPro.
Now I think of it, I remember that I have this old DOS version stored in my selection of 'not to throw out' software upstairs.

And now, the end is near;
And so I face the final curtain.....
