Mendocino vs Information Bridge Framework

I have received numerous questions about this and wanted to make sure that everyone understands that Mendocino is a set of specific applications (aiming at certain users in an enterprise) i.e. employee self service and manager self service type of applications. To be specific, 4 scenarios are core Mendocino 1.0 scenarios - Leave, Time, Organizational Management and Budget Monitoring.

IBF, on the other hand, is a development technology, allowing developers to build any (within customer requirements) solutions running in Office 2003 applications and exposing LOB data and actions. Mendocino is based on IBF and is a specific set of applications to SAP LOB system. I hope that folks don't get these 2 confused.
