It's A Blog
New digs here at OfficeZealot, new file formats to explore, new versions of VSTO to conquer... So here it is, after much intimidation and, okay, let's face it, threats (kidding), I've finally decided to blog again. My hope today was to have some crazily impressive post regarding deleting a custom XML part from a package and adding a new one to the same Uri but, sadly, none of my attempts at actually getting this to happen have worked. Actually they did work, but the bound content controls didn't update. More work to do.
For those of you unfamiliar with my old blog, you can get a play by play history of my trials and tribulations with the first version of VSTO and I hope to continue the lineage here at OZ. One of my current projects involves developing a web based document assembly system with upwards of 1,000 templates. In addition, we'll be implementing some “update on demand” technology for another division of the automation system. Following that project, we plan to do a complete Intranet rollout on, you guessed it, Sharepoint 12.
I have lots to blog about... however let me get some code going so this blog actually has some substance to it.
