I’ve always felt that MS Office, particularly Excel, has been underutilized and/or misunderstood as a business intelligence tool. Consequently, reading about all of the business intelligence features in Office 12 is music to my ears. While there are lots of sites with information on the “back-end” business intelligence tools (ala SQL Server and Analysis Services), there aren’t many good sites that focus on the client tools or how to develop solutions that leverage the back-end. The goal of the Office Business Intelligence zone is to provide focused information around the use of Office as a business intelligence client. Please let us know if you’d like to blog in this zone.
Also, in order to make room for some of the new things we’ve got planned, we’ve removed some items from our main menu. You’ll notice a new menu item – Stack Overflow – that takes you to a page that we’ll use to provide access to older zones or content.
