Creating an Outlook My.Blogs Managed Code Add-in

This is sweet! Our good buddy John Durant and David Hill have written an excellent article on merging the My.Blogs code base with Outlook. In effect, it is VSTO source code to enable blogging from within Outlook. While this might seem like a toy at first, its very useful not just to bloggers on the net, but especially to companies blogging on Intranets for team collaboration.

Imagine getting a bug report in email from a customer. You then proceed to convert it to a blog entry up on an internal blog that tracks customer satisfication. Of course you add your own commentary to the email.

Another thing I like about this is that it will be easy to port the code over to another Office application. So good work guys!
