InfoScope Releases InfoPath Runtime - Forget the InfoPath Viewer
Well it was only a matter of time before a companies started releasing products to compliment InfoPath products. Recently .NETExpert released a new product called InfoScope which is billed as a InfoPath runtime engine that lets users not having InfoPath use InfoPath forms via a web browser.
They feature an online demo that gives you a taste for how their runtime works in the browser. Its actually cool to see how well they have mimicked some of the basic functionality of InfoPath.
At first glance the product looks promising, though the website needs a little work on its english and more details would be good. I'd like to knowmore info: What browsers do they support? What is required on the server? They say they don't support the design time experience, which is fine because we can use InfoPath for that. However, what else don't they support?
There product only supports InfoPath 1.0 but they promise to support 1.1 in the near future.
