New VSTO 2005 Article

I have a new article up MSDN called “Creating a Capital Expenditure Model with Visual Studio 2005 Tools for Office and Excel 2003 Using Visual Basic and C#”. Now anyone who knows me knows I didn't name it because the title is way too long and I would get tired of typing half way thru and stop. No, I wanted to name it something closer to “Making a Complex Spreadsheet Easy to Use w/ VSTO 2005” but the MSDN crew have their rules I guess so the title is what it is. I hope it doesn't discourage people because the article really has little to do with capital budgeting and more about how VSTO 2005 can mask difficult spreadsheets with better logic. This upcoming version of VSTO is way cool and the team ask me to rewrite an old Smart Document application as a VSTO app. The quick summary is VSTO 2005 blows away smart documents. In fact, you should never write one of them again provided you can get your hands on VSTO 2005. Read the article, get the VSTO bits, write some code... and.... oh yeah... flip me a nine :)
