Redistributing the Office 2003 PIAs made easy
Microsoft just released a Windows installer (.msi) version of the Office 2003 Primary Interop Assemblies to make it easy to redistribute PIAs. This should make it easier in convincing IT folks to let you roll out managed solutions for Office when existing installs don't have the PIAs already. You can download the package from
