Rent Outlook

Coming to a Hotmail inbox near you will be the opportunity to sign up for Microsoft Office Outlook Live. For $59 a year you can subscribe to use Outlook Live from Microsoft and get 2 gigabytes of online storage plus the ability to send attachments of up to 20 megabytes. Interestingly, the standalone version of Outlook is $109 and already works with the free version of Hotmail - at least for general email features. So it will be interesting whether or not the additional integration with Hotmail will entice folks to rent vs. buy Outlook.
