VSTO 2005: Bring it on!
Microsoft is starting to publicly crank out more stuff on VSTO 2005 (Check out the new article on MSDN by Janet Robinson What's New in Visual Studio Tools for Office, Version 2005). Can't help but get jazzed up for this.... there is so many cool things in this upcoming release and just this picture alone gets me... uh... well... excited!
Yes it's true.... the idea of dropping managed controls an Excel spreadsheet embedded in VS.NET gets me pumping. The VSTO team has come up with just too many good ideas to be in just one release but that's the way we like it. Kudos to the folks from building 41! Whether its the view programming, the data islands, the real programmable task pane (Actions Pane), VSTO the second is gonna be rockin'. I just gotta say... bring it on!
