In the Gartner report "Meeting the Challenge: The 2009 CIO Agenda" (&lt;A href="http://www.gartner.com/it/page.jsp?id=855612"&gt;http://www.gartner.com/it/page.jsp?id=855612&lt;/A&gt;), the CIOs interviewed have a combined budget of more than $138 billion in corporate and public-sector IT spending, encompassing 1,527 enterprises across 48 countries and 30 industries. BI will aid the CIOs raise visibility and enhance workforce effectiveness. Interestingly, the survey also found that business intelligence ranks 4th on average in top business priorities across the 1500+ organizations. Business Intelligence continues to be the top priority of IT and is quickly becoming the top priority for non-IT executives as well. &lt;/P&gt;
