Have you ever wanted to know where your friends are without having to ask them all the time?

Well now you can........... if you live in the USA and have BOOST mobile as your carrier.  Fairly limiting, but probably something thats gonna start moving through carriers and other countries soon enough.

I can see this being really helpful to the police.  They just need to add all the criminals as their friend and then whenever they are near they will be notified.  This could work in reverse and all the criminals could see the lonely policeman, doh!
